The new Start Page will show the different information in four tabs.
Welcome Tab
Important News
In the top of the right column you will see Important News. These are important messages from us to you (e.g. informing about very serious bugs or a new major version).
These messages will also trigger a notification bubble and an icon in the lower right of the OPUS Projektor.
These messages are so important that we ask you to confirm them. Even if you close the bubble, the notification icon will still be there. If you click on it, you can see a preview of the message(s).
If you click on one of the messages, a popup with the full message will appear.
Click on the check box next to the text Show this dialog again and press OK to close the message. Only then the message will not appear again.
And, of course, please actually read the message before doing that and carefully consider its content.
Lastly, be sure that we will not misuse this system to spam you with advertisements or trivial things. This will only pop up if it's actually something important for the average Projektor user.
The news refresh every hour. If there are any problems reaching our server, a notification will be shown that there was an error loading the feed. Additionally, a reload button appears. At this point the news will not refresh automatically. Only when the feed can be loaded again after reload has been pressed, the automatic refresh will start again.
RSS Feed / Latest News
Below the important news you will find the RSS feed (Latest News) which will notify you of Projektor updates and other important information. Don't worry, we will not spam you.

At this point the feed will not refresh automatically. Only when the feed can be loaded again after reload has been pressed, the automatic refresh will start again.
Below the RSS feed, a Tip of the day feed is shown. Here you can find a random tip regarding the OPUS Projektor and the PClient and our devices. Some might be trivial to you, as an expert, but some will surely give you a tiny bit of new and helpful information.

Here you will find a little snippet of information that refreshes each day. It might be something you've known for years, but it might also surprise you and give you a small piece of new information regarding the OPUS Projektor.

Here you will see the last projects that were opened with the program. You can clear this list in the menu Tools -> Options and then the tab Projects.
