Downgrading from OS 2.x to 1.x

Warning: All files in /opt and /diag will be deleted with this update.

Due to a change in the file system the downgrade from 2.x to 1.x has to be done in two steps. In the first step, the updater will only install the following files from the OS 1.x update:

- redboot_RAM.bin

- zImage

- zImage.service

- rootfs.jffs2

There MUST NOT be any files from an OS 2.x on the USB stick, because then the updater will try and install these files and ignore the 1.x update files. You can put all OS 1 files on the stick, though.

After this downgrade has been installed, a second update can be done which includes the boot logo and the desired application (user.tar.gz file).
